Mandy's thirst for travel and teaching
Executive Director & Lead English Educator
Mandy brings a diverse educational background to Eco English Experience. She holds dual degrees in psychology and anthropology from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a Master's degree from Boston University in International Education for Development.
With over 7 years of ESL teaching experience and a TEFL certification, Mandy has taught refugees, university and high school students, elementary school children, housewives, and business professionals. She has taught English classes in Boston, Seattle, Nagoya and in Chile utilizing real world situations to reinforce her lessons, which has been shown to increase competency and retention.
Mandy loves to travel and prides herself on having been to six of the seven continents.
